  1. WebCatalog instruction ======================

  3. Please notice that this version of WebCatalog is built for Sun Solaris/Sparc 2.6.
  4. If you have a different version of Solaris/Sparc(or different kernel Solaris),
  5. please contact Smith Micro Software, Inc. to see if we can help.
  6.  
  7. Once you have downloaded the WebCatalog package distribution, use the following
  8. command to extract the distribution
  9.  
  10.     gunzip WebCatalog-x.xxxx.tar.gz
  11.     tar xvf WebCatalog-x.xxxx.tar
  12.     ("x.xxxx" is release numner)
  13.  
  14. After extracting the package, you will see all the following folders & files
  15.  
  16.     **    folder WebCatalog
  17.     **    file INSTALL
  18.     **    file install_WebCatalog.sh
  19.     **    file uninstall_WebCatalog.sh
  20.  
  21. Please read the file INSTALL carefully and follow the instructions in it to
  22. install the WebCatalog application
  23.  
  24. After installation, browse additional Release Notes of WebCatalog at the
  25. following URL to see more infomation about this version distribution
